What we collect

We collect the details you submit, including your name, phone number, email address, event type, event date, venue or suburb, approximate guest count, budget, selected package and event notes. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond, prepare a quote, organise your booking and deliver the agreed services. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your personal information.

Enquiries & service providers

Website enquiries are sent to hello@surpriseplanner.com.au using our email delivery provider, Resend, when the service is configured. They are stored in our business email system so our team can respond. Our website hosting and email providers also process information needed to operate these services. We share relevant details with service providers where needed to fulfil your booking, or where required by law.

Analytics & advertising

When configured, this website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure page visits, enquiry submissions and clicks on our call and WhatsApp links. We do not include your name, email, phone number or event message in those tracking events. These providers may use cookies and similar technologies; your browser settings let you manage cookies. External services, including WhatsApp and social platforms, have their own privacy policies when you follow their links.

Storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect information and restrict access to those who need it for business purposes. We retain enquiry and booking records as needed to manage your request, deliver services and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Online services cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Access, correction & questions

You can ask to access or correct the information we hold about you, request deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern by emailing hello@surpriseplanner.com.au or calling 0411 748 553. We will consider your request and respond, including explaining any information we need to retain.
